Three Members of the Cypriot Youth Forum used their summer school vacation to join CyberEthics team as full-time interns for the month of July.

The three high school students Artemis Hadjigeorgiou, Theofania Xaralampous, and Vaggelis Stamatiou who are members of the Cypriot Youth Forum used their summer school vacation to join our CyberEthics team as full-time interns for the month of July. Besides supporting the team in its daily working routine their main tasks covered research activities on the issues of new technologies. In particular, they assisted the data collection phases of a series of ongoing research projects

to identify the level of Internet usage in Cyprus as well as the level and perception of risks faced by children and teenagers when using the Internet,

to study Cypriot and international youth's level of revelation of personal information and activity in Social Networking Sites such as Facebook and Hi5, and

to examine the level of mobile phone usage among young people in Cyprus.

Moreover, the interns started developing and shooting a short movie on video gaming while interviewing owners of Internet cafes as well as gamers. Last but not least, Artemis, Theofania, and Vaggelis offered help and provided comments and suggestions in order to improve the CyberEthics website and especially the teenagers' section.
