Facebook Workshops for parents and children.
During the past few months the CyberEthics team, in collaboration with the Youth Board of Cyprus, implemented several Facebook Workshops for parents with their children all over the Cyprus in order to teach them how to use Facebook safely. The workshops continue with great success!
Due to the increased number of Cyberbullying incidents PCCPWC in collaboration with CNTI, organized a series of Cyberbullying workshops for children and young people. Children and youngsters were informed about cyberbullying and its impacts on people's lives.. The trainers engaged the participants through an interactive procedure and help them recognize Cyberbullying behavior, bullies and victims profile, and finally the role of upstanders and bystanders. At the end the participants were engaged in mini theatrical shows, which aimed to urge children and young people to report Cyberbullying and be able to help the victims.
In order to prevent and face Cyberbullying more effectively, our team also organized workshops for parents and teachers in collaboration with the Youth Board of Cyprus. During the workshops, and through an interactive procedure, the participants gain the necessary knowledge in order to be able to recognise cyberbullying and support victims of cyberbullying.
The project is co-funded by the European Union, through the Safer Internet programme.
